I am obsessed with using business to become self-actualized. My journey began when I was only 11 years old and starting making videos of my lifestyle- ab workouts, gymnastics tutorials, cribs style footage of our family vacation cottage...I was a blogger before it was a thing. I even won class treasurer in high school by using the same techniques I teach in my programs. I persuaded the class to "Put Large Marge in Charge of the Money".
What I'm doing today is something I have been mastering my whole life.
My name means "Child of Light Writer" and I have been self-actualizing through writing since I can remember. I went to college for mass communications before social media was a thing and I learned the traditional ways of journalism. With only a couple classes left to get my BA, I decided to use everything I learned to create an online business and continue building my brand.
I supported myself through college as a model and was already utilizing the power of social media to make money online starting in 2007 when Facebook was still in its trial period. I was already on YT and growing a following. Soon after, I found the law of attraction and began competing in bikini contests and winning every single one I did.
The lifestyle of modeling became very hard on my body and I had a deeply life-changing moment when God came to me and told me to clean up my act. That's when I started running again, found yoga and began growing my social media at rapid speed sharing my insights I would download while in my workouts. I was offered a scholarship for marketing help in an aerial yoga teacher training and I realized that this was going to be the thing that made me a household name.
I started making endless content about aerial yoga, law of attraction and traveling the world learning, teaching and immersing myself in the spiritual world. My YT channel and IG began to grow all over the world and people started recognizing me out in public. I became a content and selling machine, absolutely in love with serving my clients and audience with meaningful, inspiring and life-changing content. Within a couple years, I was making 6 figures per year and scaling up to $50k in a few weeks at a time. Hosting 22 retreats around the world across 7 countries.
I played in different niches- sustainability, relationships, money, law of attraction, yoga, fitness and feminine leadership. I noticed that no matter what I do....it works.
I realized that I built a personal brand on my core values, who i truly am and it doesn't matter what I put out, as long as it had the essence of Margie Pargie woven into it.
I realized that the vision I saw when I decided to leave college early had become a reality.
